Due to concerns around the Coronavirus and following guidance from the CDC, WHO and Massachusetts Department of Public Health regarding large gatherings, Bay Path University has made the decision to postpone the Women’s Leadership Conference (WLC) scheduled on March 27, 2020, at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield.
A full refund will be processed by Eventbrite in 30 business days. We appreciate your patience.
The WLC is the region’s premier women’s leadership event for professional and personal networking. For twenty-four years, we have gathered as a community of women and men for professional development, to honor each other’s experiences, and to celebrate our aspirations. Although we are deeply disappointed to make this decision, the health, wellness, and safety of our over 2,000 attendees are our number one priority.
The WLC for 2021 is scheduled for April 9th. Although we cannot guarantee the exact speakers, we are doing everything possible to mirror this year’s line-up. We can promise an amazing conference in line with the delivery of the past 24 events.
We were so looking forward to being with you on the 27th of March. We hope you will be excited to join us for the rescheduled event.
If you are a participant and have questions concerning the Women’s Leadership Conference, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bay Path University, like most organizations, is factoring the impact of the coronavirus into our planning and communications. We will communicate any updates on the status of the Women’s Leadership Conference with registrants via email.
At this time, we are holding the conference on March 27th as planned. We have been in constant contact with the MassMutual Center to understand their preparations for holding the event. Please see the communication from their General Manager as of this morning:
We will continue to follow the guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, the US Department of State, and the MA Department of Public Health and update our plans and protocols accordingly. The health and safety of our guests and employees remain our top priority.
The MassMutual Center has taken steps to ensure we are prepared for the potential impacts of the coronavirus. We continue to use disinfectants that are designed to prevent further spread of viruses like the one that causes coronavirus. Additionally, we’ve implemented temporary heightened sanitizing protocols and are proactive in our health and safety efforts. Our enhanced cleaning and sanitation procedures include:
